I picked Cath and Gia up early from school and they were thrilled. The kids in her class were thrilled with the bags of candy and the teacher was happy there was one for her too.

Cath said she was the first birthday person to bring in treats so far.

All kids have to go into the office while they all sing happy birthday to the kids.

The kids also have to say "cha cha cha" after every line of "Happy Birthday To You" and do this sort of dance while they say "cha cha cha".

Cath says it's embarrassing to an extent and I think it's funny. Kids need a little cha cha cha in their lives.

I picked JessJess up to join in the birthday stuff because SIL has some major weirdness going on. Ok, like a month ago Zach man was climbing up on something and she was lying on the floor. She told him to get down and he jumped on her back. About 2 hours later she gets this pain in her back and the feeling crawls to her ribs (all happening on her right side) to where the pain is so bad, she's vomiting. Since then, she's had pain attacks once a week. They don't have to be right after she eats and they haven't always happened after she eats fatty foods. The doctors are convinced that it's her gall bladder even though they do not see any gall stones. These attacks last about 4 hours and her doctor says it's consistent with gall bladder.

I just have to wonder if Zach jumping on her back did something to injure something else. I just think it's pretty coincidental that she starts these attacks 2 hours after he jumped on her from the top of the dresser onto her back on the floor.

But the doctors must know best right?

Anyway, the previous night to Cath's bday she had been in the ER and then the drugs they gave her made her more nauseous. She was out of commission.

We're all sitting at the table eating and Jess is talking non-stop. Gia said "What is she talking about??" and I said "I have no idea."

Gia starts coughing and in the cough, she's saying "Crazy. Crazy. She's crazy."

Jess didn't pick up on it and I couldn't help laughing.

Kids.
