ArachnaphoBoo has huge eyes. These are the kind of eyes you can see in the dark.

Yesterday a spider was crawling on ArachnaphoBoo's carseat. While she was strapped in. ArachnaphoBoo hates bugs. She has always hated bugs. She caught a Bee a couple of months ago in her hand and it was a major incident. She still talks about it. She says "I caught a spider (all bugs are spiders) and he was smelling my hand (because she tried and caught it) and I was scared and..." Then she says a lot of other things I can't understand. But she speaks of the Bee Catching incident often.

Back to the car seat. She had her legs out as far as they would go, screaming that there was a spider. Freaking out really. It was about to crawl under her leg and Lee reached back and swiped it off the seat. He thinks he squished it. She didn't believe it was gone. Still freaking. It took 3 minutes to convince her that it was gone and daddy squished it. She spoke of the spider the entire ride.

Last night we went to pick Lee up and Boo was extra vigilant. It was dark, but could make her out in the review, her eyes WIDE open and her legs as far back as they could be, talking about the spider. Her eyes were scanning back and forth, waiting for that thing to come crawling back. She even wanted to get out of her carseat but I assured her many many times that the spider was gone.

Yesterday Boo noticed a smudge that happened to be on the outside of the window and she was trying to hit it with whatever she could. She said it was a SPIDER! I told her whatever it was, it was dead.

This little girl is having some neurotic tendancies like her older sister. Although she doesn't have the divorce background and she has an active daddy, she still will remember like an elephant and talk about something over and over again. Until she feels there is resolution I guess.

That's something that I thought about when Boo was born. She has two older sisters that have been through situations she'll never have to go through. Boo has a dad that plays with her and pays quite a bit of attention to her and the older girls. He's someone who talks about Cath and Gia being his kids and treats them that way. Their own dad isn't that way. Gia made the comment 2 weeks ago that Lee was more of a dad than her own dad. She said Lee played with them and their dad didn't really pay attention to them.

It's just odd how they'll grow up in the same family and have such a different background.
