Karen came over today and we spent that time eating and filling easter eggs for her kids, getting it done before she heads off for California. To her parents Hacienda. She had gastric banding done about a year ago. She's been having problems with reflux and they found her band has problems and has slipped, so she has to get it redone. She's thought about going to have it done in Mexico. I just don't know about that.

Spousal has been gone since early this morning and I guess he doesn't get back until 10 or so. No sleep for me until Fiesta Head goes back to sleep tonight. Geh.

Nothing much going on. Built a fire to keep it warm downstairs. Listening to Joan Osborne.

Karen did bring her fierce fighting dog today. It's pathetic. She carries this dog around in a doggie duffle and the poor thing has a pink collar and wearing pink clips in her hair. Pink leash. My cat so wants to be a mommy. She held the dog down and force-groomed her. She did that yesterday to the Siamese kitten Barbie has. The kitten was not having any of it.

Last night I rode along with a police officer. He gets to drive really fast a lot. Not a lot happened in the way of bad people, although in the last 15 minutes of his shift, a woman flagged him down and pointed out a drunk driver. That guy was wasted and his passengers seemed pretty out of it too.
