Trying to Spell

October 28, 2004, 11:03 AM

Last night before bed I looked at two things. Dick Ch*eney on TV and then at this Smithsoni@n thing Cath got for her Birthday. Sea Monsters, raising triops.

Then I had a dream that Dick Ch*eney was in a boat throwing grapes at a huge sea monster's mouth. The sea monster had 20 eyes or so.

Something Trinity63 said that made me think of something I voted against. Against a 1% sales tax increase for education/teachers salaries. Because the last time I voted for a tax increase, education/teachers did not get the increase at all. So we vote for things to go a certain way and they do not. Constantly. So basically why do we vote if what we vote for is going to be overturned by a judge? Same thing happened with our car tabs being reduced to $30. We voted for it. A judge overturned it.

Anyway. We then would have a 9%+ sales tax and no gaurantee it would be going to education. Or rather, a salary increase.

So this whole voting thing pretty much sucks.

Boo is being whiny and it's making me mad. She's acting spoiled and that doesn't sit well. Lee bought her a lemon pound cake and she refused to take it, crossing her arms because it wasn't a pumpkin scone.

Oh no no! Mommy's crackin' down on that behavior right now.

o <--Boo says that's "P".

I said that's "O". She said "Dat's "E".

She's into stringing letters together trying to spell. She doesn't know what she's doing.

It's a great day today. Overcast, dark, cold and the trees are turning orange and red. Took Lee in a little early to do paperwork.

He has tomorrow off. And supposedly a week in November.

I can't wait until the election stuff is over with. I haven't been watching, although I turned on the TV and notice the election stuff is just getting nastier. didn't think it was possible.
